Louise was born on February 19, 1942 to Arthur (Jack) and Ellen Leech in Kelvington, SK. She married Donald Rustad on August 5, 1963 in Rose Valley, SK and they had three sons: Curtis, Grant and Warren.

She was a member of Beta, the Rec Board, Museum Board, Library Board and Elvis Fan Club. She enjoyed history, genealogy, Elvis, cards, reading, cats and gardening.

Louse is survived by her sons Curtis (Marlene), Grant (Valerie) and Warren (Jacky), granddaughters Kayla (Ryan) of Martensville, SK and Kari of Saskatoon, SK, grandsons Jeremy (Katelyn) of Kindersley, SK and Matthew (Jenna) of Prince Albert, SK, sisters Evelyn (Emil) Schnieder of Saskatoon, SK, Connie Holtz of Edmonton, AB and Jackie (Reg) McNairn of Saskatoon, SK, brother Johnny Leech of Strathmore, AB as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
