Alice Christianson

January 29, 1927 — October 16, 2022

Alice Pauline Christianson was born in China, Maine on June 29,1927 to Clarence and May Sinclair. On the morning of October 16,2022, she left this earth peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As a child, she moved from China, Maine, with her family to Blackduck, Minnesota. She graduated from High school in Blackduck in 1946. She later worked at the Bemidji hospital as a nurse aid, in the nursery. She talked many times about the sweet babies. She then moved to Walker, Minnesota and worked at the Aw-Gwah- Ching Sanitorium. She shared many memories of her working days there, and the friends she made. She met our Dad when she went back to Blackduck to care for our cousins when they were small. They were married on June 29, 1950. Mom was devoted to her children and Grandchildren. She always looked forward to being outdoors when it was blueberry picking season.

She leaves to mourn her family: Audrey Schrader (Eric), Paul Christianson (Peggy), Ervin Christianson (Colleen), Harvey Christianson (Darla), Donelda Doekper (Murray), and Gladys Niekamp (Jerome); 13 very loved Grandchildren; 25 loved Great Grand children, and Nieces and Nephews that she loved immensely; her brother Larry (Janet) Sinclair.

She was predeceased by her husband Hiram; Granddaughters Andrea and Shirina; and Foster child Ronnie.
