Sadly, Anne Gilchrist passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 97, and will be greatly missed.

Anne was born on December 15, 1928, in Edmore, Saskatchewan, and grew up in the Malby district. She married Robert Gilchrist on February 18, 1948, and together they raised four daughters in Foam Lake.

Anne loved music and dancing, and greatly enjoyed bingo and playing cards. She cherished spending time with her family, especially making memories with her grandchildren at the lake.

Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert; her parents; her brother; and her sisters.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Joan (David), Faye (Brian), Maureen, and Laurel (Norman); her grandchildren: Kelly, Janelle, Pat (Lana), Leanne (Matt), Jill (Mike), Rhonda, Heather, and Lyle (Kim); her great-grandchildren: Madison, Quinton, Jaden (Matt), Jacob, Abbey, Katana (Justin), Mason, Parker, Marie (Isaac), Emma, Lia, Adler, Evette, Etta, and Eileen; and her great-great-grandchildren: Watson, Nathaniel, Atalynn, and Tucker.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Foam Lake Jubilee Home and Dr. VanHeerden for their kindness, support, encouragement, and compassionate care during Anne's stay. Your thoughtfulness has been a great comfort to our family.
