Cody Lloyd
Hanson
June 17, 1994 — August 22, 2026
Saskatoon
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cody Lloyd Hanson, age 32, on August 21, 2026, in Saskatoon, SK.
Born on June 17, 1994, in Prince Albert, SK, Cody was the beloved son of Lloyd and Dianne Hanson. Cody was the light of their lives and loved beyond measure. He was sadly predeceased by his mother, Dianne, in 2003.
Cody is survived by his father, Lloyd, and will be deeply missed by his Grandma Hanson, countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones. Cody was also predeceased by Grandpa Hanson, Grandma and Grandpa Earnshaw, his Uncle Dale, and Auntie Peggy.
Cody is lovingly remembered for his kindness, generosity, sense of humour, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him. He was known for his compassion for those who were less fortunate.
Cody was incredibly talented and passionate about singing, playing the piano, and performing—a love he inherited from his father, Lloyd. Cody spent countless hours behind the microphone doing what he loved. This passion helped him earn a top spot in the Dare to Dream talent contest in Port Coquitlam, BC, where he lived and worked at the time. He was also featured in numerous musical theatre performances with Saskatchewan Express.
Cody is remembered for the life that was lived, the love that was shared, and the positive impact he made on so many lives.
By Cody’s request, a small, private memorial service for family and close friends will be held at a later date in Indian Head, where he will be laid to rest beside his mom, Dianne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Saskatchewan Division, in Cody’s memory.
Forever loved, forever remembered.
