David Norbert Martin was born on March 1, 1984, in Yorkton to Alan and Sandra Martin.
A year later he began his role of big brother to his sister Jessica which he took very seriously. He enjoyed having a brother when Don Crowe became his brother-in-law in 2010.
He attended Robert Melrose Elementary School and then Kelvington High School, where he graduated in 2002.
He went to Lakeland College in Vermilion, Alberta, in 2003.
David held a number of jobs over the years, but the ones he liked were usually related to being outdoors for a good part of the time. He was not one to take shortcuts but rather lived by the saying that you do a job to the best of your ability.
David loved the outdoors and anything related to it. He loved to hunt, to shoot targets and to scout. He love all things 'camo'; Dodge vehicles, especially trucks; quading; watching 'redneck' type shows. But above all else, David put family and friends first.
David's time with us may have been short, but he touched many, many people in a very positive way.
