Donald Olson

Donald Erik Olson was born to Nels and Irene Olson on April 7, 1935.
Donald worked in Calgary at Western Co-op Fertilizer for several winters. He also worked in the oil fields in Alberta for Joe Melon and as a miner for one winter in Manitoba. He enjoyed farming and had livestock as well. He loved hunting and fishing. Jan Lake was the only place to go fishing!
Donald was a very sociable person. He liked to reminisce about old times.
Donald married Lana Ingram Walker on November 21, 1998. She has five children, Preston (Marlee), Jack, Kolt (deceased); Mary Ellen (Karim) Noor; Bryce; Thomas; and William.
He leaves to mourn Lana, his wife of over 18 years, and his sister Norma Lepine and her family, Gordon (Marta); Ross; Leslie (Ester), Amy, Sam and Frances; and Diana (Daryl), Stephanie (Darren) Jackson and Nathan.
