Elsie Myrtle Hrycak, aged 76, of Wadena, SK passed away on April 12, 2019 in the Pleasant View Care Home.

Elsie was born on March 11, 1943 to Steve and Magdalene (nee Kulyk) Sobchyshyn. She married Cyrus Hrycak on October 11, 1965 in Wadena, SK.

Elsie was a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), farmer’s wife and mother. She was a member of the Kuroki Community Association and enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing and socializing.

Elsie is survived by her daughter Glenda Salikin, son Carey Hrycak, granddaughter Nicole Hrycak, brothers Henry Sobchyshyn and Kenneth Sobchyshyn and nieces and nephews Lindsey, Steven, Ryan, Terrence, Trevor and Robin Sobchyshyn, Lori, Wendy, Todd, Keith and Curtis Salikin and Sherry Scherbatiuk. She was predeceased by her husband Cyrus, parents Steve and Magdalene and sisters-in-law Mary (Bill) Salikin and Olga (Andy) Scherbatiuk.
