Farley was born on January 3, 1962 to Gylan and Ivonne Josephson. He was the New Year’s baby that year in Wadena, SK. Farley was raised in Quill Lake, SK but spent his weekends in the Wynyard area with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. They also enjoyed summers together at Leslie Beach. Growing up he loved to play sports including volleyball, hockey, fastball, and curling.

On November 9, 1996, Farley married Lisa Hyde in Wynyard, SK. Together they raised their two daughters on the same farm where his mom was raised. Farley spent a full career working at CP Rail after which he retired and worked seasonally farming for Leon and Betty Ann Bjarnason.

Farley was big hearted, funny, and generous with his time. He was known for his love of visiting, both on the phone and in person, with his numerous family members and friends. Farley enjoyed hunting, spotting for birds, and taking long drives. Farley was a proud and loving father and he loved to share updates on his daughters with the people in his life.

Farley will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 29 years, Lisa (née Hyde) Josephson and his two daughters, Kendra and Heather of Regina, SK. Farley is also survived by his sister Shanna (David) Carriere of Alida SK, his first cousins, who were like brothers, Scott (Christina) Chasky and Sheldon (Jackie) Chasky of Wynyard SK, uncle Conlin (Joan) Josephson, brother-in-law James (Corrine) Hyde, as well as nieces and nephews, cousins, and innumerable friends.

Farley is predeceased by his parents Gylan and Ivonne Josephson, father and mother-in-law Burt and Diane Hyde, cousin Perry Chasky, and numerous other beloved family members.
