Gary was born in Vancouver but raised mostly in Humboldt. He drove truck and worked pipeline most of his life. He enjoyed visiting family and friends in person or by phone. He and his wife Margaret moved to Clair from Regina in 2005. Gary passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at home. He was predeceased by his mother Elsie May in 1995 and his father Roy George in 2009. Gary will be sadly missed by his wife Margaret; son Terry (Angie), Rylan, Hayden and Maesyn; son Dion and his daughter Cortney; son Preston; and son Jim and his daughters, Dellrae and Daneka. Also left to mourn his passing are his step-children: Melanie and her son Talon; Jay (Andrea), Kaitlynne and Finn; and Amanda (Darren); his sister Donna (Barry Berner) and sons, Cory (Juanita) and Cary (Tamara); his brother Cal (Rosanne) and daughters, Kara and Kaylee; nieces, Natasha and Mehgan; nephew Nathan; sisters-in-law, Jean Holt and Marian Marshall; and brother-in-law Gerald (Gail) Clark.
