Garry Ross

A private family service was held to celebrate Garry's life.

Garry Dwaine Ross was born on December 23, 1946, to Leo and Irene Ross. Garry passed away suddenly on March 25, 2018.
Garry grew up in Algrove and in 1948 moved to Prairie River. He lived there for a year, then moved back to Algrove.
In 1951 his family moved east of Archerwill. Garry attended Felton Grove School.
As a young boy, Garry enjoyed playing the guitar with his family for many dances held at Felton Grove School and at Barrier Lake and Nobleville.
He helped on the family farm until he left to go to work on the diamond drills. He also worked driving fuel truck and school bus, and as a farmhand.
Garry met the love of his life, Durelle Hanson, and they were married March 16, 1968. To this union three daughters were born: Lynell, Jody and Kimberly. In 2007, Garry’s life changed with the loss of Durelle.
Garry was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Irene Ross; brother Merlin; father-in-law Herman and mother-in-law Corrine; and by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law.

Garry will be greatly missed by his daughters, Lynell (Allan), Jody (DuWayne) and Kimberly (Robert); grandchildren, Tristan (Paige), Keelan (Amanda), Brianna (Landon), Taylor (Rylan), Carlee (Dalton), Ariana, Jadyn; brother Larry (Mavis); and by numerous nieces and nephews.
