Garth was born on the family farm near Mozart, Sask., where he lived with his parents, Gudmunder (Jim) and Olga Bjornson; his older sister Eva; and his twin brother and lifelong best friend, Gary.
Garth is survived by his four sons, Guy, Todd, Matthew and Maitland Bjornson; grandchildren, Janelle, Bridget, Dylan, Savannah Bjornson, Elissa Nordal and Eric Bjornson; great-grandchildren, Andreas James Peters, Talia Olive Peters, Mia Sage Nordal, Creedance’s Rain Nordal, and Paisley Bjornson; and sister Eva (Brad Goodman).
