Gary Edmond St. Amand

Gary passed away peacefully at home on August 7, 2025, at the age of 81, with his loving wife by his side—as she has been for the past 61 years.

Gary was not what you’d call a social butterfly, but when it came to his family, he wouldn’t miss a moment. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edmond and Alma (Gress) St. Amand, and by his mother-in-law, Bernice Murray Hamilton.

Gary will be deeply missed by his wife, Ann; their two children, Shannon (Roy) and Sheldon (Jenn); eight grandchildren, Shawna, Victoria (Jimmy), Joseph (Nancy), Rachel (Rod), Chelsea (Varden), Denis, Gabe, and Ava (and their mom, Irena); and eleven great-grandchildren, Marek, Trenten, Kiersten, Timber, Charlee, Bryson, Hudson, Lane, Wyatt, Octavia, and Sawyer.

He also leaves behind his sisters, Linda and Jeannine; sisters-in-law, Heather and Marcella; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbours.

As per Gary’s wishes, there will be no service.
