It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gerald Clyde Buitenhuis on August 23, 2017.
Gerald was born on the family farm and spent his whole life doing what he loved the most, raising his family and farming. He married Audrey Elaine Thompson in 1964, and they built a new home on the farm near Raymore.
Gerald was predeceased by his father, Johannes Marinus Buitenhuis and his mother, Vera Pearl (Sparks).
He will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Audrey Elaine (Thompson); daughter Joanne, children Janelle and Bryce; son Dale (Kristina), children Nolyn, Krislyn and Taylen Lang; daughter Arlene, children Emma, Laura and Grace. He is survived by his sisters, Jean (Lionel) Sproule and Helen (Bob) Richardson; and by many nieces and nephews.
