In Loving Memory of Gloria O’Grady

March 17, 1949 – September 10, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gloria O’Grady, of Fosston, Saskatchewan, on September 10, 2026, at the age of 77.

Born on March 17, 1949, Gloria lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, faith, and love for the people and animals around her. She never hesitated to help someone in need and treated everyone she met with warmth and compassion.

She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Colette, wife of Kurtis Kosik, and her son, Casey Quibell, husband of Kitty. She was a proud grandmother to Colette and Kurtis’s three daughters, Kyla, Krista, and Karah, who brought immense joy to her life.

Gloria was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kerry O’Grady.

Throughout her life, she faced many challenges with remarkable courage. She bravely battled both lung and breast cancer, meeting those difficult years with strength and faith.

Her faith was an important and joyful part of her life, and she took immense comfort and happiness in it. She also loved keeping her mind active. She enjoyed playing games and working on puzzles that challenged her, and she could happily settle in to watch her favourite murder mystery shows on television.

Gloria had a special love for animals, and her beloved cat, Emma, held a particularly special place in her heart.

Those who knew Gloria will remember her for her gentle nature, generosity, unwavering kindness, and the way she made people feel cared for. Her love will live on in her children, grandchildren, family, and all those whose lives she touched.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
