Irene Rose Lindquist

Irene was born on March 18, 1946, to Truman and Connie Davis in Redvers, Saskatchewan. She was raised in Fairlight, where she attended school and built the strong, caring nature that would remain with her throughout her life.

At the age of 18, Irene married Steve Gasnarek. Together they made their home in Maryfield, where they welcomed their children, David, Vikki, and Glen. In time, the family moved to Brandon. Later in life, Irene settled in Regina, where she met and married Dennis Lindquist.

Dennis and Irene eventually made their home in Kelvington, where they spent the next 35 years together. While living there, Irene earned her certificate as a Special Care Aide and worked in home care. She truly enjoyed her work and valued the relationships she built with her clients and within the community. Her kindness, compassion, and friendly nature left a lasting impression on many people.

Irene and Dennis shared a love of the outdoors and spent many happy years enjoying life together. They loved camping, fishing, and taking fishing trips with friends. In the winter, they spent countless hours snowmobiling and exploring the countryside, while summers were often spent on the lake in their boat. Irene also found great joy in caring for her flower gardens, vegetable gardens, and plants, which she nurtured with pride and care.

Family meant everything to Irene. She adored little children, and they naturally adored her in return. She was a proud grandmother to Trae, Shaya, Mathew, and Braden, and she also cherished her bonus grandchildren: Kora Lee, Kayliah, Kahleesi, Penelope, and Mckayla.

Irene also had a special love for animals, especially her dogs and cats. She cared for them deeply, and they were an important part of her life and home.

Irene passed away on January 3, 2026. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
