Jason Grodecki

Jason Andrew Grodecki was born in Wynyard, Saskatchewan, on April 30, 1973, to Albin and Barbara Grodecki, the eldest of four children. He passed away peacefully in Saskatoon on December 23, 2016, at the age of 43 years.
Jason was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of five. He started school at Wishart, then went to C. J. Houston Jr. High in Yorkton and finally to Kelvington High School until grade 9.
Jason met the love of his life, Sherry Hagel, and her two children, Sean and Kayla Pinkerton, in 1997/98. They were together until her passing in 2005. He loved doing mechanics on his older vehicles, always asking his brother-in-law Jason Ditter his opinion on things.
When he got his Class 1A on December 31, 2001, this was the second time he was most happy. His last few jobs driving truck were for Easy Rider, R&B Crushing, and Groundworkers’ Consulting.
Jason loved watching his television shows like Corner Gas, the old Dukes of Hazard, Smoky and the Bandit and his HGTV.
Jason was predeceased by both sets of grandparents; by cousins, Rodney and Denise Gorski; and Sherry Hagel.
He is survived by his mom and dad; brothers, Durwin (Monica) Grodecki and their children, Hadlie and Crosby; Sheldon (Melissa) Grodecki and their children, Austin, Blaise and Ali; his sister Vanessa (Jason) Ditter and their children, Dylan, Treyvan and Jadrienne; and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
