Ken Hoffman

Ken was born on September 2, 1948, in Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan, to Winnie and Herb Hoffman. He passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2016.
Ken’s childhood was spent growing up in Richlea, Sask. When Ken finished school, he went to work with his Uncle Darrell Jones on seismic drills. He spent his summers working for his Uncle Sonny and Aunt Carol Buhr on the farm. Ken worked at several different mines, but stayed at Rabbit Lake mine for many years. He then took up driving at Matchett Trucking for ten years.
In later years Ken worked for Parry Farms around Naicam. All during this time, Ken and Julie ran the Naicam Motel and Gas. Ken spent his retirement with his wife Julie enjoying time in Palm Springs.
Ken loved hunting, fishing, and celebrating with family and friends.
He leaves behind Julie, his loving wife of 37 years; sons, Dwayne (Leah) Bailey, Gage; Daryle; daughter Karen (Wayne) Payton, Ryder, Cruz; father Herb; sister Kathy (Ray) Briggs; father- and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Andrea Sunderland; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Bernie) Mamer, Gilles Quessy, Mike (Kelly) Quessy, Lena (Jeff) Hartman, and Fay (Scott) Emmond.
