Mary Norberg

June 8, 1918 - May 4, 2016

Mary was born on June 8, 1918, to Metro and Anna Prybilski on her parents' family farm in the Jedburg, Saskatchewan district.
Mary took her schooling at various places. She enjoyed skating, ball games and, of course, dancing.
She married Adrian Norberg in 1940 in the Wolverton district where they farmed. To this union, Karen, Chloe and Peter were born, joining Adrian's two children, Philip and Maxine. Adrian and Mary farmed until 1984 when they moved to Wadena.
Mary's main interests were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved music, playing the piano, enjoyed gardening and working in her yard.
After having surgery in 2012, Mary made her home at Pleasant View Care Home.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Adrian (June 27, 1993); daughter Chloe (2015); her parents (1976); sisters, Anne and Stella; and brothers, Peter, Fred and Steven.
She will be sadly missed by her brother Dennis; son Peter; daughter Karen; step-son Phillip; step-daughter Maxine; and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
