Mary Perehuda was born in Ontario on May 8, 1940, to Mary Wasylenka. As a young child, she later moved back to Wynyard with her mother, where her birth father, Mike Wolitski, became part of her life after marrying her mother.

Later in life, Mary met the love of her life, Mike Perehuda, and the two were married in 1959. Together they built a life and raised five children: Darlene, Marlene, Daniel, Kathy, and Janice. Mary and Mike farmed 10 miles south of Wynyard for many years before later moving into the town of Wynyard to retire.

Family meant everything to Mary, and she took great pride in watching her family grow through the generations. Darlene married Charles Schmidt, and together they were blessed with four children: Alana, Nolan, Tressa, and Adam. Her daughter Marlene sadly passed away as a baby. Daniel married Carol Lang, and together they had two children, Devan and Ryan. Kathy remained single. Janice was married and later divorced, and was blessed with two children, Christin and Jessica.

Mary will be lovingly remembered for her devotion to her family, her strength, and the many memories she created throughout her life. Her kindness, care, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
