Merle was predeceased by her husband William in 2009; daughters, Laurie (1970) and Myrna (2008); brother Herbert; sisters, Blanche and Ethel; as well as by three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
She is survived by daughters, Judy (Jim) Engele and Joanne (Richard) Mantyak; grandchildren, Trev (Kandy) Engele, Tracey Engele (Marty Scheller), Jennifer (Ryan) McDonald, Chris (Tara) Mantyak, Jeff (Rae-Anne) Tallon, and Tim (Mallory) Tallon; great-grandchildren, Cody Engele (Jenna Hoffman), Tasha Engele (D.J. Merle was a woman of faith and lived her life guided by Christian values. She will be sadly missed by family and friends and will live on forever in our hearts and memories.
