Peggy Olson
June 28, 1950 — July 6, 2017
Peggy Kae Olson passed away on July 6, 2017, in Kelvington. Born in Wadena on June 28, 1950, Peggy was one of six children of Kathleen and Reider Nilsen, and was raised on the farm in the Roscommon area.
Peggy married Roger Olson on October 11, 1969, and the couple eventually settled on their farm 10 miles south of Kelvington. Their first daughter, Tannis, was born in 1971 and second daughter, Tanya, was born in 1972.
Peggy enjoyed gardening, reading, baking, canning, and helping others. She was generous with her time, and was well-loved by the children who rode her school bus.
Peggy was predeceased by her parents, Kay and Reider Nilsen; her beloved husband Roger; and by her sister-in-law Sandy Nilsen.
Peggy will be forever loved and sadly missed by her daughters, Tannis and Tanya; her siblings, Bonnie, Barry
