Sheldon Douglas Dufault was born November 11, 1975, in Humboldt, Sask., to Barbara Dufault. He was the eldest of five children.
Sheldon unexpectedly passed away on February 28, 2017.
As a child, he loved being on the farm and helping Grandma and Grandpa. He especially loved fishing and playing football with his uncles. Sheldon was a goalie in hockey, a pitcher in baseball, a great football player, and achieved many records in track and field.
Sheldon took his schooling in Naicam, Sask. When he decided school wasn’t for him, he entered the work force. He could do any job and was not afraid to work. He enjoyed working in the oil patch as a driller, servicing rigs, as well as at many other previous jobs.
The day that changed Sheldon’s life was the day he became a father. Chloey (Boo-Boo) was born in September 2012. She was the love of his life and he was a proud father. Chloey brought so much joy to his life. She was his world and he hers.
Sheldon was known for his contagious laugh, outrageous stories, jokes and comments that would leave a person speechless.
His passion was his motorcycle, his love of riding, showing off and telling stories about his travels. He loved and cherished his friendships and brothers that came with this passion. These friendships and brothers he called family were very important to him.
He loved his family and friends – if you were his friend you were his family. Sheldon’s love for family was very strong, He never left without an “I love you” or a hug. He was a protector, brother, son, father, and a best friend.
