Theresa Taysup

February 28, 1988 — June 10, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Theresa, a devoted mother, cherished aunt, and a beacon of love and joy to all who knew her.   On February 28, 1988, Theresa blessed this world with her presence, bringing joy to all who knew her. Regrettably, we now find ourselves in profound mourning as we grapple with her sudden and untimely passing on June 10, 2023.

Theresa was a woman of unwavering love and affection, particularly when it came to her children, nieces, and nephews. Her heart overflowed with adoration for each and every one of them. Nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with them, taking them to the park, playing ball with them, and creating treasured memories that will forever be etched in their minds and hearts.  Theresa's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the nurturing of young souls. Her unbreakable bond with her children and nieces and nephews will continue to blossom in their hearts, reminding them of her unwavering love and the cherished moments they shared together.

She was also a treasured daughter-in-law to Kurwin Sammy and Betty-Ann Sammy, and a sister-in-law to Seraphine Sammy, who shared many memorable moments together.

Her numerous nieces and nephews held a dear place in Theresa's heart, and she cherished each and every one of them dearly. Their laughter and presence brought immense joy into her life. Theresa's cousins, including Angel Taysup, Rene Gardypie, Jamel Edmunds, Elisha-ba Edmunds, Kayla Ferrier, Tinisha Ferrier, Tamika Okemahwasin, Freedom Gardypie, Sydney Taysup, Rikki Taysup, Brandon Taysup, and Cameron Taysup, were an integral part of her extended family and shared in her journey.
