Tylan Dominic Marcus Kayseas, a bright and beautiful soul whose time with us was far too short. Tylan, lovingly known as TyTy, brought light, laughter, and warmth into every space he entered. Though his journey on this earth ended too soon, his spirit will forever continue to shine.
Ty was predeceased by his maternal great-grandparents, Florence Kayseas, Jerry Kayseas, Delma Desjarlais, Robert Kayseas; Grandparents, Penny Desjarlais and Harvey Kayseas; Paternal Grandfather, Teddy Sabit; Father, Dale Ahpay; uncles Myles, Riley, and Ricky; and his auntie Beverly. We take comfort in knowing that when we look up at the stars, we will see him shining among them, reunited with his beloved Daddy, watching over all those who love him.
He leaves behind an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who cherished him, especially his mother Tamara, who he protected so fiercely and loved so deeply. He will be forever missed by his siblings Tanner, Lucian, Tyrese, Alayna, Telaya, and Aryanna, as well as his step-siblings Ariah, Scarlett, Chance and Aizen. Ty also leaves behind his grandma Katie, aunties Jessica, Martina, Chastity, Kristen (Richard), Melissa (Mason), Tamara (Harold), Shania, Khaliah (Kavan), uncles Brenden, Reedan, Jerry, Kingston, numerous cousins, and countless family members and friends whose lives were touched by his gentle loving unconditional presence.
Ty was a kind, loving, spirit-filled boy with a one-of-a-kind personality and laugh. He was cheeky, funny, thoughtful, and full of heart and charisma. He carried himself with a quiet strength and a wisdom beyond his years. He took pride in being the protector of his mom and his baby brothers, always making sure his Mommy was taken care of. He was his family’s “little giant,” big in compassion, big in love, and big in the way he cared for others.
His mind was brilliant and curious. He was fascinated by the stars, always looking upward as if he knew they held something meant for him. He sensed the emotions of those around him and wanted nothing more than to help people see the light in their darkest moments. Ty loved organizing the home, making it warm and welcoming—his small way of bringing comfort to the people he loved most.
His brothers were his entire world. He adored Tanner and Lucian with every part of his being, always watching over them, guiding them, and finding joy in simply being their big brother.
Ty also carried with him a deep love for his friends. He cherished every moment spent with them—planning sleepovers, laughing, exploring, and creating memories that will be held close to their hearts forever.
Though our hearts are broken, Ty’s legacy of kindness, bravery, laughter, and love will live on in all of us. We will look for him in the stars, feel him in the warmth of home, and carry him with us in everything we do.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our TyTy. Long Live our baby boy TyTy.
