In Loving Memory of

Gordon Faye

Gordon Murry Faye passed away peacefully on August 6, 2020.  He was born on September 23, 1947 in Lestock, Saskatchewan to Stanley and Catherine (Antoneshyn).  Gordon was the seventh of ten children.  In 1971 he married Camilla Boulanger and together they had four children.

Gordon's life was filled with hard work and dedication to whatever he was doing, a quality he passed on to all his children. His younger years were filled with various local community boards, fundraisers, a growing family, as well as a growing farm and a new business.  Many hours were spent with customers and friends over a cup of coffee or a "quick one".  Gordon was always happiest on the land growing a crop, harvesting a crop or on the road checking a crop.

Gordon will be loved and remembered by his children, grandchildren and great grandchild: Trina (Benjamin and Julia), Marty and Roxane (Mathew, Karla and Amelia, Emily, Marshal, Carlee), Lisa (Laila), and Cathy.  He will be missed by his brothers and sisters Edward (Sonnia), Francis, Doreen, Harold (Mildred), Tony (Lynda), Jean (Albert), Gerald, Shirley, Loretta (Gillis).  Numerous nieces and nephews also cherish Uncle Gordon's memory.

Gordon was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Catherine Faye, Cam Faye, brother Albin, and brothers-in-law Danny Bugyi and Gordon Meston.

The family would like to thank everyone at Wynyard Golden Acres, Tompkins Funeral Home, and friends and family for their kind words and support.  A private celebration of Gordon's life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Wynyard Golden Acres Wifi fund would be appreciated.
