Following the graveside service there will be a Celebration of Life

and lunch at the Quill Lake Community Hall.

Gordon was born on the NE 1/4 27-35-16 W 2nd at Quill Lake, SK on February 20, 1926, the son of Dave and Winnie Graham. He  married Irene McCowan on October 12, 1949.

Gordon worked at the Husky Upgrader in Lloydminster in 1948, then came home to farm with his parents until he bought grain for the P+H Elevator from 1950-52. He farmed the Roy Sanderson land for the 1952 season, owned the Imperial Oil Bulk Station from 1953-60, ran the Ford garage from 1956-60, then sold Watkins for two years. In 1962, he and Harvey bought the family farm where he farmed until his first cancer bout in 1976, selling the land in 1977 and retiring to Quill Lake.

Gordon was a Charter Member of the Quill Lake Kinsmen and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He served on many boards until he retired. He was an avid outdoorsman; hunting, fishing, building and creating. He played all sports well, but baseball was his passion. He even had the distinction of striking out Gordie Howe! He drew the plans for the current skating/curling rink by hand, spending many hours drawing and erasing. He could build and fix most things, especially if they involved hunting and fishing. His son Kent, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren had the good fortune to have hunted and fished with him over the years around Quill Lake and Hudson Bay. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and love of life, as he teased the nurses up to the end.

Gordon was predeceased by his parents Dave and Winnie, siblings Eileen, Harvey, Walter and Phyllis and in-laws Francis Friesen, Pearl Graham, George Keim, Fred and Margaret McCowan, Bennie and Lillian Ferrie, Hazel McCowan, Russ and Leona Ferrie and Stan and Helen Gryba.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Irene, son Kent (Loree Ann), daughter Landis, grandchildren Tim, Julie (David), Dee Ann (Curtis), Rena (Courtland), Cody, Kyle (Erin) and great-grandchildren Calli, Kesler, Ryder, Mason, Chase, Montana, Levi, Hunter, Raia, Austin, Ella, Kane, Nash, Maya and Owen. He is also survived by in-laws Edith McCowan, Gwynne Graham, Cliff Cottrell and numerous nieces and nephews.
