Julien Joseph Ulysse was born to Aime and Marie Prevost on March 30, 1929 on the Farm in the Barrier Valley.

Julien resided with the love of his life, June (Danielson) in Archerwill for most of his married life (70 years) with the last six months in Saskatoon at Samaritan Place.

One of Julien’s fondest memories was his courtship and marriage to June and the arrival of all eight of his babies.  During his lifetime, Julien worked as a farmer, carpenter, mechanic, and road construction where lastly, he was employed by the RM of Barrier Valley for 20 years.

Julien enjoyed his large family, camping in his RV with June (especially at Watrous), gardening, bird watching, carpentry and was always up for a good party and dancing.  He had a very strong faith and was a member of the St. Felix parish in Archerwill.  His wishes for his family were to pass down this faith and to take care and enjoy their families.

Julien was predeceased by his parents Aime and Marie Prevost; his brothers George, Aime and Louis Prevost; his sisters Therese Kohlen and Yvonne Prosko; his daughter Debbie Anderson, his son-in-law Richard Olafson and his grandson Cody Prevost.

Julien is survived by his wife June Prevost; his children Sharon Olafson, Dianne (Kelly) Hanson, Julie Anderson, Angela (Dave) Larson, Audrey (Brent) Franko, James (Pam) Prevost and Joey Prevost; his siblings Irene Pikor, Simone Nygard, Rolande Paulo, Ernest Prevost and John Prevost. He also has left behind 27 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

We thank the staff at Samaritan Place for taking care of Dad during his last months on this earth.
