Marian Weinhandl

Marian Weinhandl was born August 21,1925 at the family farm Lintlaw, SK. to Albert and Ellen Gasser. She passed away peacefully in Saskatoon on April 1,2022 at the age of 96 years. She was surrounded by her son Garth and special family friend Leslie Fray for her final hours. Marian was predeceased by her parents, her infant son, her brother Glen, her husband George(2007), youngest son Doug(2015), and grandson Kris(2015). Marian will be fondly remembered by her sons Allen(Karoyle), Garth(Laurel), David(Nancy), daughter in law Leslie, sister Audrey Hopkins, sister-in-law Audrey Gasser, Brother in law Lorence(Mildred) Weinhandl.

Marian was a special Grandma to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed every visit, hug, phone call, and photos from her family and her little people. Her door was always open to family and friends for tea, coffee, and always cookies. Marian will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Stephen’s Anglican Church c/o of Alvena Oryszczyn or Lintlaw Rec Center c/o Lorraine Guy.
