In Loving Memory of

Nat Stevenson

In keeping with Nat's wishes there will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nat's memory may be made to the Nathaniel Stevenson Scholarship awarded to a graduate of Kelvington High School.

Nat Stevenson was born on January 3, 1921 in Gilbert Plains, MB. He moved to Kelvington, SK at a young age with his family.

Nat married Dianne Zimmer and had two daughters: Sharleen (Todd) Leffler and Natalie (Colin) Elliot. Nat loved his grandchildren: Alisha Leffler, Hailey Leffler (Bryden Guy) and Ty Leffler. His newest pride was his great granddaughter Emma Guy.

Nat worked many jobs throughout his life; he delivered mail by horseback and worked for Fred Patrick, but his greatest pride was working for the Town of Kelvington. He was always willing to help and solve any problems no matter the time of day. Even when he was residing at the lodge and his memory was starting to fade, the town remained part of him. One day he was looking out the window at the lodge and spotted a backhoe, well, he had to go check it out. As he walked back to the lodge, he said, “Hopefully they fix that right” and he stopped and looked back and said, “I think I know them, Brian Lund and Kevin Ford”. His smile was infectious, and he would chat with anyone.

Nat loved his family and his community. He will be missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and all his extended family.

Rest in peace Nat.
