It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Chysyk announce his passing. Wayne passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital, at age 62, after a courageous battle with cancer. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas (Nick) and Anne as well as numerous aunts and uncles on both the Chysyk and Juravinski sides. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family. He is survived by his wife Doreen; children Russ (Randalynn), Ryan (Pam), Carlin (Karlie), Melanie (Adrian), Janelle (Tim) and Steve; siblings Deb, Dale (Jackie) and Shari (Joe); three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Wayne was born on August 5, 1958 in Saskatoon, SK and grew up in the Elstow, SK area. He enjoyed spending time with his lifelong friends Jim, Tom and Sam. He attended Purdue University, where he continued his education in the field of agriculture.

Wayne worked for the Federated Co-op, the Co-op Agro Centre, PBR Auctions, Twin Valley Co-op, Wigmore Crop Protection & Petroleum, Viterra/CPS, Wendland Ag, and Port Lajord Terminal, where he agreed to help build the business with Lionel, as the General Manager of FK Plant Elements and KF Fertilizer Terminals, all while maintaining the family farm with Dale since 1978.

Wayne had a passion for farming and agriculture and was always available to lend a hand to friends and neighbours. What Wayne cherished the most in life was his wife Doreen, his children and grandchildren.
